Week 9 – BHCFA Junior Mate Training Program

Welcome to the final week of the BHCFA Junior Mate Training Program. Our last class will be held on Thursday, August 24, 2023, at 7 PM, at the Beach Haven Marlin & Tuna Club.

We will start the class by recapping our experiences from the Beach Haven White Marlin Invitational. Following that, you will have the opportunity to showcase your knot-tying skills that you’ve perfected over the last few weeks.

The class will then shift to a more reflective tone as we discuss our favorite learnings from the program. This is a chance for everyone to share their most memorable experiences, key takeaways, and how they plan to apply their newfound skills.

Following the discussion, we will conduct a Junior Mates survey. We encourage everyone to provide honest feedback as your opinions will help us continue to improve this program.

Lastly, we will hold the Captains Meeting for the upcoming Junior Mate Tournament. During this meeting, we will assign boats for the tournament. Remember, Junior Mates are welcome to bring one guest with them to the tournament.
