About the Beach Haven Charter Fishing Association

The Beach Haven Charter Fishing Association is a non-profit organization, stationed in Beach Haven, Long Beach Island, New Jersey. Our primary objective is to enlighten the public about the joys and intricacies of salt-water sport fishing in Southern Ocean County, NJ.

With a history rooted in the late 1800s, our association continues a long-standing tradition of providing fishing charter services. Our boats, part of the distinguished Elite Fleet, operate throughout Long Beach Island, from the causeway south to Holgate, and on the mainland from Lanoka Harbor in the north to Tuckerton in the south.

Our experienced Elite Fleet Captains are all licensed by the U.S. Coast Guard. They guide fishing enthusiasts to rich fishing grounds, home to a diverse array of species such as Tuna, White Marlin, Blue Marlin, Wahoo, Mahi Mahi, Swordfish, Fluke, Bluefish, Sea Bass, Striped Bass, Tautog, Weakfish, and Shark.

Fishing with us is an accessible recreational activity that costs only about $150 per person on our 6-person charters. This fee includes charter, fuel, bait, ice, tackle, and the mate’s tip.

We welcome families and children aboard our vessels, which range in size from 19′ to 44′. Our boat styles vary from open console and express to fly bridge sport fishing craft, each equipped with amenities to cater to your charter fishing party’s needs.

For more details about our offerings or to book your dream fishing trip, we encourage you to contact our Member Captains directly. Also, please check out the Junior Mate Training Program Schedule posted on the Junior Mate Page for young, aspiring anglers.
