Reel Reaction

Reel Reaction charters runs the “Jenny Lynn” which is a 23’ semi-custom Parker Sport Cabin powered by a 250HP Yamaha 4-stroke. The vessel provides a fast, ultra stable fishing platform in rough conditions, but yet can still fish the “skinny” shallows in Barnegat Bay. The well-ventilated-heated cabin provides comfort and gets you out of the elements. Parker boats are known for Strength, Simplicity, and Seaworthiness.

Our vessel is equipped with multiple sonar & GPS units, marine VHF radio and 24-mile Radar. The vessel is current with all USCG required safety equipment and carries a McMurdo GPS 406-MHz EPIRB. We fish a variety of the highest quality tackle by: G.Loomis, St. Croix rods, Penn Reels, Avet Reels, Berkley Gulp, S&S Bucktails, and Tsunami lures, just to name a few.

Capt. Brett holds a USCG 6-person OUPV coastal license, is an active member of the Outdoor Writers Association of America, and writes a weekly online column for On The Water magazine.

Captain Brett has been avidly fishing Barnegat Bay and surrounding ocean waters for the last 18 years and specializes in Fluke, Striped Bass, and a variety of inshore species. Whether you want to work the shallow waters for quality Fluke, inlet rocks for Striped Bass, or fish the open ocean, we will do our best to put you “ON” fish!

Our charters are ran from two locations: Bobbies Boats in Barnegat Light, LBI and from Waretown on the mainland. We have a range of charter options and depending on the season run for a variety of species (Bluefish, Blowfish, Bonita, Striped Bass, False Albacore, Fluke/Flounder, Weakfish, inshore Bluefin, etc).
